This policy explains what information TechTide ("we", "us") collects when you use this website, why, who we share it with, and the choices and rights you have. You can change your choices at any time on our Your privacy choices page.
Information we collect
- Strictly necessary storage. Your privacy choices and light/dark setting, stored in your browser. Always on.
- Analytics (only with your consent). Google Analytics 4 collects pages viewed, approximate location, device and browser type, and how you arrived. IP addresses are anonymized.
- Advertising (only with your consent). Our ad partner, Adsterra, may collect device identifiers, IP address, browser information and ad interactions to show and measure ads.
- Information you send us. Your name, email and message when you use the contact form, comment, or subscribe to the newsletter.
- Anonymous view counts. We count page views per article without cookies or personal identifiers.
Why we use it (legal bases)

- Legitimate interests: running and securing the site, preventing spam, and replying to messages.

Who we share it with
- Google (Analytics 4), our analytics provider. Google privacy policy.
- Adsterra, our advertising network. Adsterra privacy policy.
- Hosting and database providers that store the site and its data on our behalf.
We do not sell personal information for money. Allowing advertising may count as "sharing" personal information for cross-context advertising under some US state laws; you can opt out at any time (see below).
Your choices
- Change consent: use Your privacy choices or the "Cookie settings" link in the footer.
- Global Privacy Control: if your browser sends a GPC signal, we treat it as a request to opt out of advertising, and advertising starts switched off.
- Google Analytics opt-out: browser add-on.
- Industry ad opt-outs: optout.aboutads.info and youronlinechoices.eu.
